A student who crashed her car gave first responders and passerby a scare because she was drenched in blood. She was fine, though — it was just part of her Halloween costume.
Sidney Wolfe, a 20-year-old student at Marshall University, donned a white gown, covered herself in blood, and drove to a haunted house in rural Kentucky last Friday night. She was filling in for a friend to promote a local production of Carrie: The Musical, and was tasked with handing out promotional materials and posing for photos with haunted house attendees, USA Today reports.
The musical is based on a film, which is based on a Stephen King novel of the same name in which an extremely sheltered teenage girl with telekinetic powers snaps after her high school bullies douse her in pig's blood during prom, and kills her classmates, teachers, and mothers in a murderous rampage.
